Not at all. We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds and experience levels. Whether you're completely new to theatre or have years of experience, we'll help you find a role that suits your interests and abilities.
There are many ways to get involved, including acting, directing, stage management, lighting and sound, set construction, costume and wardrobe, front of house, bar service, marketing, fundraising, administration and more. If you have a particular skill or interest, we'd love to hear about it.
We understand that everyone has different schedules. Some volunteers are involved every week, while others help with specific productions or occasional events. You can contribute as much or as little time as you're able.
Absolutely! In fact, many of our volunteers work entirely behind the scenes. Every production depends on people supporting technical, creative and operational roles, and these are just as important as the performances themselves.
Yes. Many of our volunteers join with friends or relatives, and volunteering together can be a great way to meet new people while sharing a common interest.
Yes. If you're new to a role, our experienced members will provide guidance and support to help you learn and feel confident. You won't be expected to know everything from day one.
Many opportunities are available for adults of all ages, and some roles may also be suitable for younger volunteers. If you're under 18, please get in touch and we'll advise you on the opportunities available and any supervision requirements.
